A Narrative That Transcends Time

Meet professional gambler Paul Pasternak. He is a sharp dresser, drives a nice sportscar, pays his taxes on time, and even tips well. He never left his hometown of Omaha and rarely misses a day betting on horses at the track. Everyone there knows him, but nobody really sees him. This truly invisible man has been killing women since he was a teenager.

When Paul meets the tall, lovely, brunette beauty, Marlene Riggs, at the racetrack bar, something changes. Paul reconsiders a few things. Maybe she is the one he has been looking for. Maybe she is exactly what he needs. A reason to stop killing. Maybe his impulsiveness will subside and finally altogether cease.

Until somebody else murders Marlene.

The FBI arrives.

Two invisible men circle the same ground. And Paul, for the first time ever, finds himself inside an investigation instead of outside one.
